Young Learners Are Not 'Guinea Pigs'

The right question is being posed by the headteacher? in the video, “Is it (AI) raising standards?” however, in my opinion, our young learners are not test subjects or ‘guinea pigs’ for Google, Microsoft and Adobe. These companies should have to prove that their AI tools raise standards before ever releasing them to schools. If they can prove that AI raises standards, with independent evidence, then of course, let learners use it. If they can’t, then forget it, and in the mean time schools haven’t wasted learners time in playing with yet another big tech product that does nothing to improve learner standards.
